Refunds and Returns Policy

At Maida’s Cake Pop Shop, every order is made fresh and prepared specifically for each customer. Because our cake pops are perishable food items, we do not accept returns or exchanges.

No Returns

Due to food safety standards, we cannot accept returned cake pops once they have been picked up, delivered, or shipped. This applies to all cake pop orders, including standard, custom, themed, and special event orders.

Limited Refunds

Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances. Refund approval is not guaranteed.

Examples where a refund or partial refund may be considered include:

  • An error was made by Maida’s Cake Pop Shop
  • The order was damaged before pickup or delivery
  • The wrong item or design was provided
  • An order issue was reported within a reasonable time after pickup or delivery

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect information provided by the customer
  • Missed pickup or delivery times
  • Improper storage after pickup or delivery
  • Taste, color, or design preferences when the order was fulfilled as agreed
  • Custom design expectations that were not clearly requested or confirmed before the order was made

Custom Orders

Custom cake pops, themed designs, lettering, colors, and special requests are made specifically for each customer. Because of this, custom orders are non-returnable and may not be eligible for a full refund unless there was a clear mistake on our part.

Order Issues

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Photos may be required so we can review the issue fairly.

Please include your name, order number, pickup or delivery date, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation requests are handled based on how much preparation has already been completed. Orders that have already been started, completed, or prepared for pickup/delivery may not be eligible for a refund.

Final Decision

Maida’s Cake Pop Shop reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests based on the details of each situation..
